About Me
My name is Josh Rutledge and I decided to take some time and create a website to showcase my photography and my travel adventures.
I have always been interested in photography, even back in the “old days” and dad would let me use his 35mm film camera. With the invention of digital photography and my interests in all things technology, it was a natural fit.
I would mostly consider myself a nature photographer, but I have dabbled in many forms of photography and am always trying to improve my skills and expand my subject matter.
I am based in Central Montana, but I love to travel to other locations as opportunities present themselves. Some of my favorite locations to photograph include Glacier National Park, Yellowstone National Park and Alaska.
I have had my photographs featured in Montana Outdoors magazine, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service publications, Bureau of Land Management websites and several other websites and publications over the years.
I am primarily a Canon shooter, and my current wildlife kit includes a Canon R5 II body, Canon EF 600 F4 II, Canon RF 100-500 and Canon EF 70-200 F2.8 III lenses. I also have the older Canon R5, Canon R6 and several older Canon DSLR bodies. I have a wide assortment of other lenses as well.
Thanks for visiting my site. If you have any comments or questions, feel free to contact me via the form on my Contact page. You can also find me on my various social media accounts linked below.
